Following the election, a group of Moms got together to reflect on the election result and brainstormed on actions we can take to initiate and continue social activism through art, music, writing and all other artistic platforms to empower our family, our friends and our community.
A number of us came up with an idea to produce a benefit performance to help raise money and awareness for the important organizations that will be challenged in the coming years.
At the upcoming meeting on Saturday, we will be discussing the content we want to develop for the benefit performance and we want YOU to be involved and help us bring this creative seed to life. We will also identify the organizations we want to help raise money for and organizations we can partner with.
