Your Body Is Your Business-- POSTPONED
We spend a lot of time and money staying competitive.
Faster computers, higher speed internet, stylish clothing, the latest gadgets, the smartest phone, the right publications and memberships.
But, what about our bodies? We're totally dependent on them for our professional success, but we can't simply upgrade our operating systems, put our old bodies on the stoop and try on new ones, or trade-in what we have for a newer model.
Whether you work remotely, in cafes, in your pajamas, or in an office; whether you're a freelancer, entrepreneur or executive... taking care of your body is one of the most important business investments you can make.
We've read the surveys, we've seen the emails, we know that work/life balance is one of the most important issues for the members of PSP Career Networking.
We are so pleased to invite you to YOUR BODY IS YOUR BUSINESS, a workshop that will help you:
Transform your workspace into an ergonomic and sustainable one, creating the best possible body-positive work environments wherever you perch (cafe table, park bench, subway platform, freelance desk, piano bench, skateboard..)
Acquire tools for making better nutritional and physical choices to ensure good health and stamina.
Create an internal support system to help you make informed movement and nutrition choices.
Integrate sustainable and consistent nutrition and fitness habits into your work-life.
Learn to create and schedule stretch/meditation/time-out breaks during the work day to relieve stress and rejuvenate your mind.
Understand the important building blocks to making lifestyle changes.
Make a realistic wellness plan for the workplace to bring your life into better balance.
