Tweens & Screens 411: Helping Parents Navigate the Digital Age

Please join PSP for this timely workshop led by Mindful Media Talks, founded by well-known NYC child psychiatrist Kari Groff, MD and experienced teen psychologist, Fara Jones MA, LCSW. This workshop is for parents of children in 5th - 8th grades.

In their Mindful Media Talks, Dr. Groff and Ms. Jones provide interactive psycho-education and guidance to help parents and families navigate life in today’s digital age of screens and smartphones.

Their dynamic and engaging presentations are rooted in developmental psychology and provide perspective and hope for families who are questioning how to incorporate digital media into their lives.

Based on the most current research and extensive hand-on clinical experience with children and teens in New York City, families will gain new insights and strategies to approaching their relationships to digital media, their families and themselves.

In addition to their years of professional experience,
Kari Groff and Fara Jones bring laughter, community spirit, and positive energy to their presentations and audience engagement.
