Park Slope Parents (PSP) is a community of 7,000+ families in Brooklyn, NY. Since 2002, PSP members have shared advice on everything from childcare and camps to hairdressers and healthcare. We've coped with teething, terrible twos, the tween years, and more. We have over 100 specialty groups, including cooking, gardening, allergy, LGBTQ, crafting, single/divorced/separated, middle school, high school, and even a new college discussion group!

Park Slope Parents recognizes that families take many forms, including two-parent families, single-parent families, blended families, same-sex families, foster families, multi-racial families, adoptive families, and more. We have a "family" membership based on the multitude of different compositions of both caregiver(s) and child(ren).

What our members are saying:

"I could write a book about how much I love PSP! Seriously, people living elsewhere have no idea what they're missing. The life-changing classifieds; the clothing & gear swaps; the helpful email groups organized by baby birthday AND neighborhood; the high-quality, creative programming that ranges from live music events to financial fitness webinars; the warm groovy spirit and in-this-together camaraderie—is there no end?! So yes: thank you, thank you all. When living in NYC gets tough, I remind myself that amazing resources like PSP are the flip side of the coin."

"It is so helpful to hear other people's experiences rather than just googling things!"

"I have found the Working Moms Group an invaluable resource about balancing the demands of family vs. career and I'm always inspired by the advice and discussion that is circulated."

🎈"I think PSP is the most amazing community and resource and has been invaluable to us while we've been living in Prospect Heights." 🎈

"I can see where a parent group may be thought of as intimidating... holding yourself up to other parents' parenting standards, but what is so great about a group as broad as PSP is that within that large community, you find people who fit your parenting style, and you make connections and friendships with people going through the same exact stage of life as you."

"I’ve gotten a lot of emotional and practical support from this group over the years… you should know that the community has helped me in so many ways, and I’m super grateful for you and your work…You’ve managed to create a space where – from what I can tell – people feel licensed to show and be their best selves in the name of helping one another. It’s really wonderful. Thank you!"

"Since I joined June 2012 babies almost 8 years ago, you and the community you helped create have influenced my life in every possible way."
