Enjoy the gorgeous greenery and beautiful views in Green-Wood at this special PSP Members-Only socially distanced Stroller Tour for parents with babies or toddlers in strollers or carriers. On this tour, we're going to take a different route, to see some of Green-Wood's animal residents. As we stroll around an ancient glacial pond we will encounter animals, both real and in stone, that remind us that this is also a place for the living. We might see: an egret, a red tail hawk, monk parakeets, turtles, and bees (from afar). In stone we'll see : foxes, squirrels, turtles, bears, dogs and monsters! And, if you'd like to stay and enjoy the sunshine, bring a picnic blanket and relax in the meadow outside the big gates when the tour is over! Free parking available. Meet at the flagpole on your right just beyond the entrance arch. We'll meet at 10:15 for introductions, and then start the Tour at 10:30am sharp, so please be there on time! The cost is $10.00* and the proceeds support Green-Wood’s Historic Fund. All tours are weather permitting and capped at 15 people. If the tour is cancelled due to weather, we will sign you up for another tour or credit your PSP account. *There are no refunds for PSP Events. "Tour guide was great! Interesting stories. Loved the opportunity to passively use our brains just a touch- in these early days it’s easy to fall into auto pilot. Love that it involved walking (we need more of that), fresh air, and scenery/greenery." "Learning a bit about a place I’d been meaning to explore, giving me good reason to finally go!" "It was fun to learn about the cemetery and meet some other parents."
