Jack & Friends Playground Family Music Series @ 10:00am
The Jack & Friends Playground Family Music Series returns this June with award-winning children' s performer
Suzi Shelton
who will feature a diverse cast of guest musicians playing guitar, fiddle, trombone, and upright bass in this free 5 week outdoor concert series for families with young children. Sponsored by the Park Slope Library and Jack & Friends along with support from Park Slope Parents and Old Stone House & Washington Park. Giant bubbles by Park Slope Parents begin at 10:00am on the lawn with the music starting at 10:30am. Bring a blanket and some sunscreen and get ready to dance in the summer sunshine!
This series is sponsored by the Park Slope Library and Jack & Friends which is presented in celebration of Jack Roberts and his joyful spirit. His friends and family hope you enjoy it.

Christopher "bassplayaplaya" Johnson is originally from Boston where he studied at New England Conservatory from age 7-24 where he earned his bachelors in music. He then moved to NYC to earn his Masters at Manhattan School of Music. He also recently recorded a Nina Simone tribute album prior to his tour with Sphinx Virtuosi and JP Jofre.
