PSP Back to Work 411 offers first-hand advice from experienced working moms who’ve been there, done that. In addition, for parents who want to breastfeed or pump, we will have a Certified Lactation Consultant providing concrete information about pumping at work, keeping milk supply up when you're back to work, and how to work with partners/caregivers/daycares on feeding your child while you're working.
This is a “semi-structured” panel with folks sharing honest experiences, tips, and “aha moments” that will hopefully give you a head-start on the process of going back to work.
Topics will include:
- Pumping at work, traveling while pumping, and building up your supply before you go back to work.
- Adjusting to working from home during COVID-19
- Morning and evening routines.
- Tips for getting out the (figurative and literal) door on time.
- Prepping for nanny/daycare/childcare.
- Balancing schedules with partners.
- Discussing flexible work schedules with employers.
- Ongoing emotional and mental health support.
Please try to get childcare support so you can really focus on the conversation!
