Please join PSP for the workshop Raising & Nurturing Bilingual Children at 826/Superhero Supply Company on Wednesday, November 20th. 

We will cover:

• Methods and strategies that work best for families raising bilingual kids, including pros and cons of various methods.
• Practical tips for supporting fluency in both languages, even as children get older and possibly start to prefer the language spoken in school or their neighborhoods.
• Understanding language mixing, code switching, and other aspects of language development specific to bilingual children.
  
• An overview of language education programs for children of all ages in Brooklyn such as playgroups, preschools, after-school programs, summer camps, and school-day (K-12) programs (including immersion and Dual Language programs).
