Prospect Park Alliance, Fort Greene Park Conservancy, and Rooftop Films announce Summer Movies in the Park, presented by NewYork-Presbyterian.
This week's movie is Shrek 2:
Enjoy this beloved animated feature starring Shrek and his love, Fiona! Now married, they travel to Fiona's kingdom, Far Far Away. The catch: her parents are unaware of the curse that struck their daughter and have assumed she married Prince Charming, not a 700-pound ogre with a talking donkey pal.
Park Slope Parents will be on the lawn with giant bubbles, crafts, and rainbow body paints until the movie starts.
6:00 PM: Lawn Opens
8:30 PM: Film Begins (shortly after sundown)
Location: Enter Prospect Park at Grand Army Plaza to access the north end of the Long Meadow
