Sleeping with the sharks!
Bring your sleeping bag and join us after hours to explore the New York Aquarium. Discover the marine life in Ocean Wonders: Sharks! with behind the scenes tours, fun activities in the PlayQuarium and a live animal encounter at this unforgettable sleep "under" event.
Ages 5+ with an adult. If you want to take multiple kids, you'll need 1 adult per 5 kids ratio.
THRESHOLD: We have about 15 tickets left, but they must be purchased before October 23th... We believe this great opportunity will sell out, so get your tickets early. You'll be able to resell your spot(s) to other PSP members.
Cost is $110/per person plus fees ($5/per person)
NOTE: Price per person without the PSP discount is $135... so YAY for PSP!
CHECKIN: 6pm
ENTERTAINMENT:
They have stations you rotate in and out of (4 stations such as animal demonstrations) until 9pm
From 9 til lights out we can do Playquarium or watch a movie (I vote for Playquarium)
You can come either earlier Saturday or stay when it opens Sunday with your free pass during regular hours.
FOOD:
They provide a snack after the stations
They provide continental breakfast
You can bring in dinner (there's also Nathan's, Surf City Pizza, Papa Johns, other places on Surf ave-- but it will be November...)
SLEEPING :
You sleep in the shark building (which sounds super cool!). There are 3 rooms within the shark building to sleep
Folks need to stay in the shark building-- no exploring other places (they are all locked)
They do not provide cots (like the Intrepid) but you can bring small blow up mattresses.
Lights out is typically 10:30pm (longer if we do a movie)
PARKING: You will get a pass to park. Some people come in with their stuff in a wagon. You can also take the train.
