This Estranged Families Meetup is a supportive and safe space in our community to share, process and cope with estranged relationships.
NOTE: This event will be facilitated by Laura Roemer, a licensed professional, who is donating her time to this event (please thank her!). The goal is to create a supportive community, not to act as a replacement for professional care.
We ask that all participants respect the privacy of others and keep discussions confidential. While we cannot guarantee the complete confidentiality of the information shared, we want this to be a safe space for people.
Laura Roemer, LCSW is an advanced group therapist with training in bereavement counseling, addictions treatment, and IMAGO relationship therapy. She has been a psychotherapist working with individuals and couples for over fifteen years. See her Psychology Today description.
Housekeeping: The group will be meeting DOWNSTAIRS in 390 Social's private room. You are responsible for ordering and paying for yourself. To make things go more smoothly, please order when you come in.
