About this event

Parents of toddlers have all been there: the shoes are on the wrong feet, the toast is cut the “wrong” way, and suddenly a meltdown is in full swing. If you’re struggling to hold your boundaries while your toddler is tantruming, you aren’t alone. How do such big emotions come out of such tiny bodies? And how can parents help kids handle their big emotions while keeping calm themselves?

Maddy Clark, LCSW, of Small Brooklyn Psychology, will address all of this in this upcoming webinar. She’ll dive into:

  • Why toddlers’ brains literally can’t control their impulses (yet!)
  • Concrete scripts for biting, hitting, and tantrums
  • Strategies for how to stay calm when you’re being triggered

This webinar will help you understand the toddler years (and not just survive them!). Maddy will save time at the end for a Q&A with participants, moderated by Dr. Mandi White-Ajmani.

When: Wednesday, February 11th
Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
