How to Write a Great College Essay @ 7:00pm

Handwriting

Join Lorraine Allen, an essayist, journalist, educator, and creative writing teacher, and PSP member, now based in Los Angeles, to learn all about how to write a stand-out college essay. Lorraine is a veteran essayist, journalist, editor and educator, formally trained in college essay techniques, and has been working with students globally on applications since 2018. In this webinar, she'll cover the key do's and don'ts of college essay writing, from how to brainstorm and choose a great essay topic and which to avoid, to essay structure, language, voice and more. You'll come away with an understanding of how to start, revise and polish a strong personal essay for the common application, as well as how to tackle the many supplemental essay questions and responses for each school, and how much time and effort these also require (spoiler: quite a bit!)

Bring your burning application essay questions as well, and if there's time, Lorraine can answer them during the Q&A.

This webinar will be recorded. Register now and we'll reserve you a spot (even if you can't attend live) AND email you the recording link. The recording will be available for 60 days.
