About this event
Join other expecting, new and experienced dads to talk about being a dad.
Discuss the highs and lows, the sleeping and not sleeping, the successes and magical weirdness of life as a new father.
Meet other excited soon-to-be dads, brand-new dads, and been-there-done-that dads to talk about issues such as how to maintain a good relationship with your partner, best dad tricks and more.
Regardless of where you are in the Daddy-ing process, we are hoping for a candid discussion where Dads can talk about the things that don't always come up on poker night or out for drinks.
Words of wisdom about new fatherhood from two PSP dads:
"I can't remember when I've been so happy despite being so sleep deprived."
"Awesomeness will occur with unexpected frequency!"
Park Slope Parents recognizes that identifying as a dad takes many forms including adoption, surrogacy, and more. We welcome all expectant and new parents, including LGBTQ, who identify as a dad. If there are other issues or questions that we can help you with, please let us know.
Our Park Slope Parents 411 events bring together parents who have experience in various steps of the journey (from birth to summer camp to college) with parents who are looking to learn. Join us to absorb fellow families' wisdom and ask questions in a supportive and open environment!
