How do you know if your child's language development is on track? Jocelyn Wood will discuss what skills your child should be developing in the first 3 years of life, what you can do to support them at home, and when to seek help.

Jocelyn's child development and language expertise - combined with your knowledge of your child - will help you create an environment that will nurture and develop your child’s language development every step of the way.

Jocelyn M. Wood MA, CCC-SLP will:
  • Provide a step-by-step way to assess your child's language development to make sure they are on track
  • Share a checklist you can use to monitor your child's progress
  • Discuss how to best support your child's language development at home, and to ensure they stay on track during a pandemic
  • Support monolingual, bilingual, and multilingual families on their language learning journey
  • Facilitate a Q&A with attendees about concerns regarding language development
Jocelyn M. Wood is a bilingual speech language pathologist with over a decade of experience working with infants and toddlers. She uses a whole-child based approach to help families understand how to easily create a nurturing environment where language skills can thrive. Her program, Tiny Talker Toolkit, guides families through 6 weeks of interactive lessons and video coaching to help them apply language-learning techniques to their everyday routines.
