Jennifer Wilkin and Dr. Sarah Creider will discuss:
  • Language development for multilingual children, including language mixing and code switching.
  • Practical strategies for supporting fluency in both languages, even as children get older and possibly start to prefer the language of the playground.
  • The differences between language educational options, including enrichment, dual language, and full immersion, with a brief description of what's available here in Brooklyn.
  • Key ways to support language learning at home during pandemic times.
