Come meet other PSP dads who've lost their fathers, whether recently or many years ago, or are estranged from their fathers. We'll discuss how to be more present and involved in our children's lives. Please note this is an adults-only meetup.
A bit of history: Park Slope Parents has been organizing meetups of the Fatherless Fathers since 2019. Dads who are raising kids without their dads (through death or estrangement) get together to support each other, tell stories of their own fatherhood. If you're a father who has lost your own father, we welcome you to these meetups.
The meetup will be at a member's home-- you will find the address in your confirmation email!
NOTE: This group is peer-led, not facilitated by a licensed professional and should not be confused with professional therapy or counseling services. The goal is to create a supportive community, not to replace professional care. If you have specific concerns about your physical or mental health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
