PSP Pregnancy Circle

The PSP Pregnancy Circle is a 1.5 hour unforgettable group experience for pregnant mothers offering sharing and support - in a safe, loving environment -  for this unique, transitional time.

The Circle is led by Ellen Krug, a longtime psychotherapist, childbirth educator, doula, and mother.

Pregnancy can be joyous and exciting but it can also be filled with anxiety about the baby and about all the changes parenthood will bring - in your job, finances, time, living space, and relationships with your partner, parents, siblings, and friends.

You may wonder, “What kind of mother will I be? How do I keep my self? And whose advice do I follow?” You may have had a long path to getting and staying pregnant or you may have gotten pregnant quickly or unexpectedly. You may feel really well while pregnant, like the glowing image our culture and the media like to portray, or you may feel many discomforts or, often, a combination of the above.

Pregnancy Circle topics may include the following (as well as suggestions brought by the members of the group):

 - Creating a healthy pregnancy and support system
 - Your new and changing body
 - Changes in mood and emotions
 - Your changing relationship with your partner, parents, siblings, friends, and others
 - How a baby will fit into your life
 - Anxieties, fears, and hopes about childbirth and motherhood
 - Birth planning
 - Benefits of having birth and postpartum doulas
 - Postpartum mental health

This PSP Pregnancy Circle is limited to 11 pregnant mothers only.
If you cancel, there are no refunds or credits offered for this event.

Here's what one mother has to say about the Pregnancy Circle with Ellen:

The pregnancy circle with Ellen Krug gave me confidence and support around some of my biggest questions and concerns about birthing and beyond - exactly when I needed it. Ellen's honesty, empathy and understanding provided a much-needed perspective and helped me find the courage to believe in myself. The special bond of love and acceptance from the other moms-to-be in the room was also unforgettable. After the birth of our daughter, I reached out to Ellen for help when I found myself struggling with PostPartum depression. She became a wonderful resource/sounding-board for my partner and me during the intense early days of parenthood.
