2nd Mom Journey: a Meetup for Second-Time Moms
About this event
We are kicking off a new member-led series of meet ups for moms who have brought their new baby home to an older sibling(s). During these sessions, we’ll talk about what it means to be a mom in today’s world and how we are approaching life with more than one child.
Sessions will be Wednesday April 23rd and Wednesday April 30th 11:00am - 12:30pm at the Park Slope Library (9th st), starting April 23. Attend one or both sessions! Moms can come with their babies or on their own (we won’t have space for older kids.)
Each week we’ll start with a reflection prompt (we’ll send them out ahead of time) but if you don’t get to it, don’t worry, you’re still welcome to join! You’ll share, offer compassion and camaraderie, and hang out with each other and your babies. (Or join us solo- that's also fine too!)

Where: Park Slope Library meeting room
Who: Moms* with babies 6 months and younger.
When: Wednesday, 11:00am - 12:30pm
Cost: FREE
RSVP Required- SPACE IS LIMITED
*Open to all mom-identifying folks.
NOTE- while babies are welcome, this is a meetup geared towards Moms. Bring your baby or come by yourself, and be ready to share the company of other moms.
A note about the writing prompts: You are not required to share or read your prompt. The prompt is designed to help you freely think (and write) about what it means to be a mom, and how the ever-evolving role impacts your life, parenting, and outside relationships.
