Kitchen Table Talks: Helping Your Immigrant Domestic Worker

Given the truly scary immigration landscape, we've decided to host a 'kitchen table conversation' about supporting immigrants who work in our homes (as nannies, caregivers, housekeepers) and our neighborhood.

The idea is to talk with others about how we can actually provide support for the people who work in our homes and neighborhood - whether it be coming up with a plan for an immigration emergency or just reaching out and communicating support - even when there are language barriers or these types of conversations are difficult.

We will have guidance from the Sanctuary Homes and Hand in Hand group to help guide the discussion and share resources with us.

This is for anyone who is:
--Looking for a way to start these difficult conversations

--Looking to support immigrants in our homes and in our community

--Wanting to take steps towards meaningful political action

We will provide food and drinks.

Let's take a step together to make a small difference for the people in our lives!

Please Join Us!
